The Department of Business Administration and Management Sciences is one of the three departments that form the MMUST School of Business and Economics. The department offers globally recognized and competitive qualifications in the field of Management at Certificate, Diploma, Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels.
By periodically reviewing our programmes and maintaining strong linkages with the industry through career talks, firm visits and industrial attachment programmes, the Department has ensured the content of its programmes meet the needs of the world of work. Since 2008, we have continuously produced graduates in the fields of Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Human Resource Management, Purchasing and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations and Information Systems Management and Strategic Management.
Our alumni are actively involved in the management of organizations both in the public and private sectors. Part of our success is drawn from the high calibre of our dedicated Faculty who have extensive teaching, industry, research and consultancy experience. This has ensured that we remain on the forefront of developments in the field of management in terms of research and consultancy, commanding a client profile that includes private firms, the national and county governments.
Through conference presentations and refereed journal publications by our faculty and students, we have ensured that the department’s visibility in offering empirical solutions to management challenges is recognized both locally and internationally.
